| Michael Medling has spent the last 31 years in the real estate industry. He is a
graduate of the University of Tennessee, a graduate of the Realtor Institute
of Tennessee and designated G.R.I., and I.F.A. appraiser with the National
Association of Independent Fee Appraisers in Chicago. He is a panel
appraiser for the U.S. Veterans Administration and the U.S. Department of
Housing & Urban Development. He is also a Compliance Inspector for New
Construction and Special Adapted Housing for VA.
Michael is a broker for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Fredie
Mac) for their foreclosed properties in North West Tennessee. He also
handles properties for financial institutions such as banks and REO
companies. Michael owns and operates Goolsby Real Estate at 300 N Front St
in Greenfield.
He is past president of the Weakley County Chamber of Commerce, Obion &
Weakley County Board of Realtors, and Greenfield Rotary Club and the first
President of the Greenfield High School Alumni Association. Currently he
represents Weakley County as Vice-Chairman on the Executive Committee of the
Workforce Investment Act board of the Southwest Human Resource Agency, which
covers 13 counties and the Northwest Tennessee Human Resource Agency and
Northwest Tennessee Development District, which includes nine counties. He
also serves as a Deacon in the Greenfield Church of Christ.
