The cities of Weakley County each have organized programs for the youth including baseball, softball, and basketball. The city of Martin also has an organized soccer program open to any youth in Weakley County.
Adult softball teams are plentiful in Weakley County as well as the opportunities to participate in league or tournament play.

If you like to walk for exercise, there is an abundance of walking tracks or quiet, safe city sidewalks on which to spend time.
The county is consistently one of the top producers in Tennessee for the annual deer harvest for archery, muzzle loading and firearms.
Waterfowl hunters and fishermen will find that Weakley County's location halfway between Kentucky Lake and the world famous Reelfoot Lake makes this a prime area for these outdoor activities. Weakley County further has numerous ponds, watershed lakes and state operated Garrett Lake open for public use.
