about THIS COMMISSIONER:
Roger Donaldson is currently serving his second term as Weakley County Commissioner. He is Commissioner in the 8th district. Roger Donaldson is a lifelong resident of Weakley County. He is married to Julie Donaldson, formally Julie Jackson of Martin. They have two daughters, April and Ashley Donaldson, and one son, Eli Black.
Roger has been the co-owner and chief financial officer of Donaldson Brothers Rentals for over 30 years. He is a member of Central Baptist Church where he currently serves as chairman on the financial committee. He is also a member of the Weakley County Chamber of Commerce and serves on the board of directors. Donaldson is a founding member of the Martin Business Association and served for five years on the board of directors as well as in other positions.
Donaldson is a member of the Martin Rotary Club and has earned the Paul Harris Fellow award. He is the 2015-16 president and has served on the board of directors for five years and as sergeant-at-arms.
Donaldson is a graduate of Leadership Weakley County, the Martin Police Department Citizen Academy, and the Martin Fire Department Citizen Fire Academy. He also served as team captain for the Weakley West Relay for Life. Donaldson attended the county official orientation program in Murfreesboro in 2014.
