about THIS COMMISSIONER:
Roger Donaldson was first elected in 2014. Roger is a lifelong resident of Weakley County. He is married to Julie, formally Julie Jackson of Martin; they have two daughters, April and Ashley Donaldson, and one son, Eli Black.
Roger is a co-owner of Donaldson Bros. Rentals. He is a member of Central Baptist Church, serving on the Finance Committee, and was the past chair of that committee. Roger is the past president of the Martin Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow. Roger is the Past President of the Tennessee County Commissioners Association, with 1620 members across TN. He serves on the Tennessee County Service Association Board of Directors, representing county mayors, road supervisors, and commissioners for all 95 counties. Roger is a founding member of the Martin Business Association and past chairman of the Weakley County Republican Party. Roger is a graduate of Leadership Weakley County, the Martin Police Department Citizen Academy, and the Martin Fire Academy. He also served as team captain for the Weakley West Relay for Life.
