Weakley County Tennessee Travelog from 1984
One of the most facinating videos we have found of Weakley County, this old recording was made mid-summer of 1984 by a roaming videographer, documents and promotes Weakley County, Tennessee, and was broadcast on local ABC channel WBBJ-TV 7 in Jackson, Tennessee. The video features Ned Ray McWherter, just two short years before he runs for Governor, mentioning his plans to run. Other neat details include a "new" factory being built called MTD Products which boasted new job growth in the area, and many people you are sure to recognize if you live in Weakley County!
